Poco Island (or Isla Poco) is tiny islet in Bocas Del Toro, Panama, Caribbean part. Its size is just less than one acre 0,7 acres (318071 m2) and its maximum width and height are 22mX9m (noted as usable space) and height goes up to 1,8m. Poco Island is located in mangrove-overgrown part of Tierra Oscura region. The islet is just less than one kilometer away from Tierra Oscura.
Isla Poco is around 16,2km (airline) from Bocas Del Toro (about half an hour boat ride) and around the same distance from Almirante town where the port is located. it lies in protected and calm region, especially within mangrove there are calm waters. Despite its very small size it has good amount of vegetation. There is good views at neighbouring hills and some view on the water on its northeastern side.
There is one jetty for docking boats however. There are no beach on the island, and seems no coconut palms for classical tropical vibe, but still that is very interesting island. Isla Poco is very interesting because it private island on sale, promoted as tiny cheap island for less than 50000$! That is price of some small home or apartment today, so having Caribbean islet on Panama makes it very unique indeed for that price and what has to offer!
