It is worth mentioning Poole Island, a small specific island that has a brownish color and is almost entirely surrounded by overgrown vegetation on the reef. It is also surrounded by corals. It has land area about 20 ha, size about 750mx400m, 700ft runway for small planes, some of infrastructure, built access to deep water…
The island was first developed as a commercial property in the 1800s and still has some evidence of its former existence. Its location is in famous Whitsundays.
