Hello people! This night I had an honor to talk with Mauro Bersani, a man behind amazing and rewarded Zopango Island in Nicaragua Lake! I used to talk with his daughter, Flavia Bersani, but Mauro agreed to do this small interview. We talked for some time, and some of the conversation and questions will be in our big Zopango Island blogpost (which I just updated) https://tropicalislands.net/zopango-island/ while standard interview questions and answers will be here below. These interviews are part of ,,double-promotion” feature for our members in ,,Private Islands For Sale”, and also for the rest of us to learn more about islands, regions and environmental issues.
NOTE: Those are all generic questions for various types of promoters (owners, sellers, agents, renters, realtors…), and various types of representation (renting, selling, sharing…) for various assets (islands, beachfronts, plots…). Have in mind that you can mention multiple assets as well.
QUESTION1: Can you tell us something about yourself and your relation to the asset you are representing?
ANSWER1: We came from France in 2007 and decided to choose the best activity to know and help the local community. Ecotourism is always what we like. We bought this island virgin but the previous owner cut all the goog trees before selling ! So we had to plant a lot…
QUESTION2: What is an advantage (pros, positive points) of your asset and the region where it is located?
ANSWER2: Zopango Orchids Island is a.very unique tropical island. Located in a fresh water lake, very safe and clean. out of the grid. Solar panels and filtration water sysrem. Only 30 mn from the colonial center of Granada. Nicaragua is the center of Central America. You have to cross Nicaragua and pass by Granada if you want to come from the USA to South Chile !
QUESTION3: Can you tell us your opinion or prediction about the future of your asset and the future of the island market overall for this year or further?
ANSWER3: The isletas of Granada is already the future of Granadas’ tourism. Nicaragua is said to be Like Costa Rica was 20 years ago.. Great future with very kind people, colonial towns and very rich history
QUESTION4: What is your opinion about ,,Private Islands for Sale” facebook group and ,,Tropical Islands” blog so far?
ANSWER4: It’ s a great oportunity to buy and sell islands.
QUESTION5: And last, can you tell us your opinions about climate changes on environmental impacts globally or in your region of interest?
ANSWER5: Climate changes fast and make this part of Nicaragua (pacific dry) a real “paradise” without climate damage. No tsunami, no big rain, no hearthquake. So for population from Canada and USA it is a very protected place
