Wild Duck Island

Wild Duck Island is an island 25 km west of the Duke Group https://tropicalislands.net/the-duke-group-archipelago/  . The island is about 300 acres (121 ha), length / width about 4.5 km by 2 km. It has beaches, and one is about a kilometer long. The project was abandoned on the island 15 years ago, and as a result we have a runway for planes and 25 unfinished bungalows along the stream (they stand for nothing, under various weather conditions) and the vegetation has been cleared because of them. Despite that, there is a possibility for additional construction, since it is for sale.

 

As we can see here, it is bad to clear vegetation to build many structures, then left them unfinished for many years to fall apart there:
