Heavy rains in Malaysia have been going on for three weeks continuously

We already covered the article here https://tropicalislands.net/the-number-of-flood-victims-in-malaysia-is-growing/  on December 22, when heavy rains already caused death and floods in Malaysia (since 16 December).

So far, January 10, 2022, the rains are still going on, for three weeks in a row! The number of victims rose to 54 dead and two missing, and over 71,000 displaced, while over 125,000 people were affected. The government has declared the catastrophe as one in 100 years. Record rainfall has been reached in some places. The Malaysian government has been criticized for its slow response to the crisis. Climate activists, scientists, the media link this catastrophe to climate change.
